About Your Counsellor
Ross Jenkins, MA, CCC, RCC #19406 (he/him)
Counsellor
Certified Sexual Health Educator
Hello, and thank you for taking an interest in Inclusions Counselling. My name is Ross, and I was born and raised in the Greater Seattle Area. In the 1990s, when I was attending Western Washington University, I started working with neurodiverse persons and those with developmental delays.

A designation of
BC Association of Clinical Counsellors
After a brief hiatus working in bookstores, I moved to Vancouver Island in 2004 and resumed work as a community support worker in 2008.
In 2015, I graduated from the Sexual Health Educator (SHEC) program offered by Options for Sexual Health (https://www.optionsforsexualhealth.org/) with the intent of providing science-based sexual health education to neuro-diverse and intellectually delayed persons who may have missed out on such education due to challenges faced in school systems.
In 2018, I decided to further my education and enrolled in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) program at Yorkville University, graduating in 2021.
As a counsellor, I work with individuals, families, relationships, those who identify as neurodiverse, and people with intellectual challenges.
I approach counselling with cultural and trauma awareness, an understanding of LGBTQIA2+ issues, and alternative relationship styles including kink and polyamory.
More than anything, my wish is to help people feel comfortable with who they are in their own skin.
